I've always loved photography. I started taking pictures in high school with my father's 1978 Nikon F2, and studied photography all through college, most memorably with Joel Sternfeld.

After college, I joined the editorial staff at American PHOTO where I got to look at inspiring images and meet some incredible photographers -- one time I even got to speak briefly to my idol, Richard Avedon, on the telephone. He was very nice.

I mostly use my iPhone 5 these days but I like to carry around my Fujifilm XF1 and sometimes my Nikon D60.
